The Life of Dr. RICHARD T HOWARD
Services for Dr. Richard T. Howard, 55, of Ankeny, who died of cancer Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ankeny First United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Howard was born in Des Moines and was reared in Ankeny. He lived in Kanawha for several years before moving back to Ankeny in 1966. He oeprated Howard Veterinary Clinic and was a member of the Greater Des Moines Veterinary Medicine Association and Ankeny First United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Iowa State University.
Survivors indlue his wife, Elizabeth; three sons, Charles E., Richard A. and Robert A., all of Ankeny; a daughter, Carol E. Ryan of Ankeny; a brother, Addison of Tampa, Fla.; his mother, Alice Howard of Ankeny; and three grandchildren.
The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Ankeny First United Methodist Church.
Friends may call at Ankeny Funeral Home today between noon and 9 p.m.
