Lanny Marquis Rites Saturday
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Dunn''s Funeral Home on S.W. Ninth St., for Lanny G. Marquis, 26, of 1915 Harding Road, who was killed in a one-car accident early Thursday on MacVicar Freeway near an exit to Keosauqua Way. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Marquis, a lifelong resident of Des Moines, was a graduate of Lincoln High School in 1961 and operated the Mid State Vacuum and Sewing Co.
Surviving are his wife, Lois; two sons, Adrian and Wade; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Garold Marquis, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Atkinson, all of Des Moines.
