John Corsbie, 81, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at the Senior Suites of Urbandale.
John was born on April 6, 1928, to Lilly and Ivan Corsbie in Van Wert, Iowa.
John is survived by his wife, Pat; daughters, Marcia (Steve) Poli of Urbandale, Pamela (Samuel) Walton of Palmer, Alaska and Linda O’Morrow of Des Moines; grandchildren, Samuel Patrick, Ian Walton, Brian Hatcher, Jimmy and Krystal O’Morrow; sisters, Mamie Craig, Mildred Adams and Mable (James) Horney. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A visitation with family present will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2009, at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of John.
