The Life of LLOYD T THORSON
Lloyd T. Thorson, 66, of 113 SW Maple St. in Ankeny, died of cancer Thursday at home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Ankeny. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Thorson was born in Kanawha and lived in Ankeny for 43 years. He was retired from Logli Super Valu. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Senior Citizens of Ankeny and was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; three sons, Bob of Ankeny, Douglas of Phoenix, AZ, and Larry of Houston, TX; a daughter Lois O''Donnell of Johnston; a brother, Russell of Klemme; a sister, Viola Wesenberg of Garner; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Ankeny Funeral Home.
