The Life of ROBERT JACKSON KUHN
Robert Kuhn, 81, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. He was born on June 9, 1928, in Algona Iowa.
Robert enjoyed a lifetime of wood working at Kuhn’s Custom Cabinet. He loved hunting, watching basketball and baseball, and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Dannelle (Steve) Dahlhauser, Cori (Jonah) Kuhn Coleman and Carrie Kuhn; daughter-in-law, Marci Kuhn; 3 great-grandchildren (with one more on the way); sister, Helen Klein; and nephew, Rick Klein.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie; son, Kirk Kuhn; daughter, Mindy Burnett; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM, Monday, November 9, 2009, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines. Burial will occur 3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation with the family present will be from 5:30-7:00 PM Monday evening, prior to the service at the funeral home.
