The Life of MICHAEL D MASON
Michael D. Mason, 44, of 4912 Douglas Ave. died of cancer Tuesday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Mason was born in Worcester, MASS, and lived in Des Moines 11 years. He was owner and operator of Lee Young''s Hairstyling and was a student at Drake University Law School.
Surviving are his wife, Lee; a daughter,Julia Mason of Des Moines; and a brother, Richard of California.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the church, where a vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Care.
