The Life of LLOYD FRANKLIN SCOTT
Services for Loyd Franklin Scott, 74, of 1417 E Ovid Ave., will be at noon Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Scott was dead on arrival Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital after suffering a heart attack.
A retired packing plant night security guard, he was born in Gibbon, NB, and lived in Oxford, NB, before moving to Des Moines 39 years ago. He was a member of St. John''s Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Cara; a daughter, Mrs. Marlene VanTuinen of Cincinnati, OH; a son, Irvin of Bloomington, MN; a sister, Mrs. Fanchio Sandalis of Amarillo, TX; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Iowa Heart Association or a charity of the donor''s choice.
