The Life of MARY H BENJAMIN
Services for Mary H. Benjamin, 65, of 2903 Thirty-fifth St., who died of cancer Wednesday at home, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Westover Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Benjamin was born in Colorado and lived in Des Moines for 64 years. She retired in 1985 from V.F.W. State Headquarters, where she was a secretary. She was past president of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Dale K.; two daughters, Janice Russell of St. Louis, MO and Jane Castellano of Des Moines; a sister, Genieve Kienast of Des Moines; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Polk County Cancer Society.
