The Life of LEAH I SULLIVAN

Leah I. Sullivan, 89, of Polk City Manor Care Center in Polk City died of a heart ailment there Wednesday.  The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assured Care Chapel in Ankeny.  Burial of the cremains will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mrs. Sullivan was born in Boone and had lived in Des Moines many years before moving to Polk City a year ago.  She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Park Christian Church.

She is survived by a son, Robert of Urbandale; four daughters, Marcene Runyon and Bonnie Bowen, both of Des Moines, Corrine Day of Ankeny and Victoria Quellette of Council Bluffs; a brother, David Newcomb of San Quinto, CA; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.

Memorial contributions may be made to Polk City Manor Care Center.  Cremation Society of Iowa is handling arrangements.
