The Life of RAYMOND ROBERT BATTANI
Raymond Robert Battani, 73, of 1220 NW 70th Ave. died of cancer Sunday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Battani was born in Woodward and lived in Ankeny 34 years. He retired from Dewey Ford, where he was a service manager for 27 years. A Navy Veteran of World War II, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Roger and Richard, both of Des Moines; a daughter, Lynnette Fyfe of Waukee; a brother, Bruno of Woodward; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
