The Life of BARBARA L FINCH

Barbara L. Finch, 66, of 4032 First St. died of complications of Alzheimer's disease Wednesday at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Finch, a lifelong Des Moines resident, was a homemaker and an employee of the Metro Ice Sports Arena.

Survivors include her husband, Franklyn; two daughter, Judith Bimbi of Des Moines and Connie Finch of Altoona; two sons, David of Des Moines and Doug of Altoona; three sisters, Euarda Schuling, Winifred Howe and Ruth Morrison, all of Des Moines; three brothers, Bernard McVey and Howard McVey, both of Des Moines, and Dewitt McVey of Murray; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made the Alzheimer's Association Iowa Golden Chapter or Hospice of Central Iowa.
