The Life of EINER A KRAMME

Services for Einer A Kramme, 78, of 4653 NE Forty-sixth St., who died of a heart ailment Thursday at his home, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Luther Memorial Church. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens. A native of Aalborg, Denmark, Mr. Kramme lived in Des Moines for 60 years. He was retired president of Iowa Bridge Co., which built many state and city projects, including the Southeast Fourteenth Bridge over the Des Moines River and the East Thirtieth Street viaduct. He had served as vice president and treasurer of the Iowa Lutheran Hospital Board of Directors, and was the first recipient of its Medallion 100 Club Award. He also was a member of Luther Memorial Church, Moingone Lodge, Des Moines Consistory and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine Temple. Survivors include his wife, Dagmar; a son, Lowell of Des Moines; a daughter, Grete of Des Moines; a sister, Vanda Abildtoft of Aalborg, Denmark; and two grandchildren. Friends may call between 3 and 8 p.m. today at the Kramme residence. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to the Iowa Lutheran Hospital Building Fund or Spare Wheels Inc.
