The Life of DELBERT R MAHAFFEY
Delbert Mahaffey, 76, of the 700 block of East Fifth Street died of a heart ailment and pneumonia Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Dahlstrom''s Family Funeral Care, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Mahaffey had lived in Des Moines all his life. He was a retired deliveryman with several businesses, an Army Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion.
