The Life of MILDRED M WINTER
Mildred M. Winter, 92, of Story City died of cancer Tuesday at Bethany Manor Nursing Home, where she was a resident since 1985. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Bethany Manor Chapel, and burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetary in Des Moines.
Mrs. Winter was born in Des Moines and previously lived in Waterloo and Ames. She retired after 25 years as owner of Winter Dairy in Waterloo and was a emmber of First Christ Church in Ames.
A niece, Beverly Shelton of Johnston, survives.
Friends may call at Bethany Manor one hour prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or the nursing home. Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
