The Life of JAMES L JOHNSON
James L. Johnson, 69, of the 3800 block of Eighth Street died of a heart ailment Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. He was an Metro Transit Authority bus driver and a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of American Transportation Union and enjoyed traveling and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Yo Yong Pun Linda; five children; a brother, Lee Johnson of Des Moines; and seven grandchildren.
