The Life of MILDRED M LARSON
Mildred Larson, 85, of the 3800 block of Grand Avenue died of a heart ailment Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dahlstrom''s Family Funeral Care, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Larson was born in Des Moines and had lived in Calhoun County before returning here, where she had lived most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Park Lutheran Church. She enjoyed baking, crafts, sewing and her pets.
She is survived by a daughter, Sue Philpott of Des Moines; a son, Larry of Waukesha, WI; three sisters, Louise Runnign and Marcella Wallace, both of Des Moines and Phyllis Maitre of Seattle; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will be present fro 5 to 7 p.m.
