The Life of GUYLENOX WYER

Mr. Guylenox Wyer, 87, of 2965 E Euclid, Des Moines, died of heart failure at Mercy Medical Center.   Services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''''s Near Highland Memory Gardens.  A private burial will be at a later date.

Mr. Wyer was born in Miami, OK and moved to Prescott, IA before residing in Des Moines.  He worked as a machinist at John Deere for 23 years before retiring in 1971.

Guy enjoyed working and staying busy.  After retiring, he worked for The Des Moiens Register as a vendor for stores and motels.  He was also a crossing guard at East 29th and East Euclid for John Quincy Adams Elementary School.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Wyer; son, Bill Wyer and wife Jean and daughter, Donna Wyer, all of Des Moines; and grandson, Evan Wyer and Fiancee'''', Kristen of Ankeny.

Friends and family may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''''s Near Highland Memory Gardens where the family will be present. 

Memorial contributions may be made to John Deere employee Fund.
