The Life of RUTH E MCAULEY
Mrs. Ruth E. McAuley, 59, of 4108 S.W. Fifth Ave. died of a lung disease Monday at Mercy Hospital after a two year illness.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Albia, Mrs. McAuley lived in Des Moines the past 46 years and was a clerical worker for Look magazine until it ceased publication 3 1/2 years ago. She was a member of the Park Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Medici of Ankeny; a brother, John Liddicoat of Des Moines; two sisters, Mrs. Leona Messer of Des Moines and Mrs. Sophia Pierce of Albia, and three grandchildren.
