The Life of DONALD EDWARD BRAUER
Donald E. Brauer, 59, of 7210 SW 11th St. died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Airport Baptist Church, of which he was a charter member. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Brauer, a lifelong Des Moines resident, retired as a truck driver for Lee Way Motor Freight. He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion and Northfield Flying Club.
Among survivors are his wife, Kay; two daughters, Pamela Massie of Ventura, CA and Lauire Brauer of Woodward; three sons, Lance, Bill and John, and a sister, Barbara Davis, all of Des Moines; a brother, Bob of Sun City, AZ, and a grandchild.
