The Life of PHU CHIN LENG
Phu Chin Leng, 83, of 2009 E 38th Ct died of complications of pneumonia Wednesday at Mercy Hospial Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Leng was born in Laokay, Vietnam and had lived in Des Moines since 1980. He had been a farmer.
Surviving are three sons, William and Thai, both of Des Moines, and Pao of Denison; three daughters, Phui Bouaphakeo, Chui Goodall and Nina Khoumchanh, all of Des Moines; 20 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
