The Life of WESLEY M WOODYARD
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery for Wesley M. Woodyard, 70, of Midwest City, OK, a former Des Moines resident who died of a heart attack Sunday in Midwest City after a two-year illness.
A native of Illinois, Mr. Woodyard spent most of his life in Des Moines before moving to Midwest City 20 years ago. A security worker at Tinker Air Force Base, OK, before retiring in 1965, he was a member of the Rainbow Division of World War I veterans, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Masonic Lodge and Midwest City Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor; two sons, William of Des Moines and Donald of Midwest City, OK, a daughter, Mrs. Clarice Anderson of San Francisco, CA; five sisters, all living in California, and 10 grandchldren.
The body be will at Arnold's Highland Park Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
