The Life of W DONALD MANSON
W. Donald Manson, 67, of 314 SE Grant St., Ankeny, died of an aneurysm Friday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be at 2 pm Monday at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Manson was born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and had lived in Ankeny 16 years. He was a retired technical writer for Massey Ferguson and a member of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy; a daughter, Audrey Manson, and a son, Charles, both of Indianapolis; a sister, Florence Gorill of Saskatchewan; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm today at the funeral home, where the family will be present. Memorial contributions may be made to the Philanthropic Fund of Phi Tau Omega Sorority.
