The Life of LINDA C WEHAGE GARDNER

Linda C. Wehage-Gardner, 34, of 117 NE Crestmoor Pl in Ankeny, died of cancer Friday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ankney First United Methodist Church, of which she was a member.  Burial will be at Des Moines' Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Wehage-Gardener was born in Corydon and had lived in Ankeny since 1988.  She was an English and reading instructor at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, and was a member of the international, Texas and Brownsville, Texas, reading associations.

She is survived by her husband, Tom; a son, John of Ankeny; two stepsons, Mike Gardner and Chris Gardner, both of Cedar Falls; two stepdaughters, Becky Gardner and Amy Gardner, both of Cedar Falls; her father and stepmother, Paul and Janice Wehage of Mount Pleasant, and her mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Arnold Staub of Ottumwa; a vrother, William Wehage of Ankney; a stepbrother, Curtis Craig of Mount Pleasant; two stepsisters, Lynne Mews of Williamsburg and Audra Swartz of Salina, KS; and her grandmother, Elsie Koble of Chariton.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. Monday at Ankeny Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m.
