The Life of GEORGE WASHINGTON ROW

Services for George W. Row, 74, of 1328 Fifteenth St. who died of cancer Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Hospital after a year''s illness, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Row, a street-car operator before his retirement 10 years ago, was born in Reading, PA and came here 39 years ago. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Acanthus Masonic Lodge, Royal Arch Masons, Des Moines Consistory, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, and the Street Railway Employees Union, Local 441. Surviving are his widow, Laura; a son, George R and two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Overholser and Mrs. Ethel Loftin, all of Des Moines, and four grandchildren.
