The Life of RICHARD THOMAS PUCKETT
Richard Thomas Puckett, 77, of 8282 NW 86th St., Johnston, died of cancer Monday at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Luke''s Episcopal Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Puckett, retired chairman of the board of Puckett Tools and Fasteners, was a lifelong Des Moines resident and a member of Masonic Lodge and Az-Ga-Zig Shrine.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three daughters, Judy Daughenbaugh, Carolyn Goodwin and Rebecca Puckett, all of Des Moines; three sons, Dennis and Kent, both of Des Moines, and Darrell of Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchldren.
The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Westover Funral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children''s Hospital or Hospice of Central Iowa.
