The Life of CYNTHIA CAROL SCHOEN

Cynthia Carol Schoen, 51, of the 300 block of Southeast Trilein Drive, Ankeny, died of cancer Saturday at Mercy Hospice-Johnston. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul''''s Lutheran Church in Ankeny, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.

Mrs. Schoen was born in Ames and had lived in the Des Moines area most of her life before moving to Ankeny nine months ago. She had been a communications clerk with Broadlawns Medical Center and a member of LWCO. She enjoyed drawing, painting and reading.

She is survived by her husband, Jon; a son, Jeffrey of Ames; two daughters, Darcy Schoen of Polk City and Vanessa Schoen of Ankeny; a stepson, Jon of Chandler, Ariz.; her stepmother, Ann Page of South Lyon, Mich.; a sister, Sherry Richards of Mingo; two stepsisters, Kris Kerwin and Jennifer Page, both of Michigan; two grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton''''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
