The Life of VENA L LUMADUE
Vena L. Lumadue, 61, died Sunday, June 6, 2004 at home. Services will be 12 p.m. Thursday, June 10 at Hamilton''s near Highland Memory Gardens, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Vena was born September 24, 1942 in Downing, MO. She was employed with Equitable of Iowa for 28 years as an administrative assistant. In 2001, Vena retired as a sales representative from Capital Sanitary Supply where she worked for eight years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, genealogy and being with her family.
Vena is survived by her husband, Donald of Des Moines; stepdaughter, Kim Lumadue of Ames; stepson, Craig Lumadue of Ankeny; mother, Blanche Williams of Kirksville, MO; cousins, Sue Clark, Mary Anderson, Irene Anderson, Mary Overton, Lois Smith and Curtis Schmitter; brothers-in-law, Alfred Lumadue, Ray Lumadue, Lionel Lumadue and Ronnie Lumadue; sisters-in-law, Beverly Rumley and Valeria Dalley; and grandchildren, Ryan James and Danielle.
