The Life of TERRY W SWINDLER
Terry W. Swindler, 57, died Monday, August 23, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 26, at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Chapel, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Terry was born August 18, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa and served in the US Marines. He was a car salesman for Crescent Chevrolet and previously co-owned Harold Robbins, Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Claudia Swindler of Des Moines; son, Jason (Jennifer) Swindler of Des Moines; daughters, Jennifer (Steven) Berdovich of Chicago, Il, and Piper (Alan) Marquis of Des Moines; grandchildren, Jared and Claire Swindler and Talia, Isabelle, Chloe and Boden Marquis; father, Wilbur Swindler; and sister, Donna Halfhill of Des Moines.
Visitation begins after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
