The Life of PAUL E GRUVER

Paul Gruver, 70, went to be with his precious Lord on Tuesday, May 23, 2006.

Being the third of five children, he was born to Clifford and Alice Gruver on April 4, 1936, in Waukee, IA.  At sixteen years of age, he began his life-long career working with his father and brother in the Gruver Plastering Company and continued to do so until his death.  Paul accepted Jesus Christ as his beloved Savior while attending the First Church of the Nazarene and then, later, dedicated his life wholly to the service of Christ.  His family will forever remember him as a humble, generous, and devoted Christian husband and father.  His neighbors and friends recognize him yet as a gentleman of unwavering faith and integrity.

Paul is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret; three daughters, Pamela Gruver, Kathy (Randy) Foster, both of Des Moines, and Ramona (Milo Joe) Ferrari of Carlisle; one brother, Maynard (Zetta) Gruver; three sisters, Miriam (Merwin) Kielmann of Stockton, MO, Christine Hazel Armstrong of Des Moines and Sharon (Ronald) Meisner of Alma, MO; two grandsons, Joe Anthony (Felicia) and Frank Angelo (Dani) Ferrari; great-granddaughter, Lonna Marie Ferrari and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 12 noon Friday, May 26, 2006, and a Memorial service immediately following at 2 p.m. at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Garden Funeral Home, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.  Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
