The Life of PHOSY VANSYLALOM
Phosy Vansylalom, 54, of the 1100 block of Frazier Avenue died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Cremation will follow services.
Mr. Vansylalom was born in Laos and had lived in Des Moines 16 years. He was a factory worker with Parr Mfg and a member of Lao Buddhist Temple and Lao American Assocation. He enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Om Vansylalom; four sons, Somkhouan, Sengchan, Chasamone and Nikhorn; and two daughters, Phengphan Vansylalom and Khonsavanh Vansylalom, all of Des Moines; two sisters, Khamphou Vansylalom of Canada and Ouane Kheng of Dallas, TX; and a brother Nouane Sylalom of Des Moines.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
