The Life of ROBERT DARWIN LEONARD
Robert D. Leonard, 49, of St. Charles, Ill., died of a heart attack Sunday at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, Ill. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Leonard was born in Des Moines, where he lived until about 1981. He was employed by First Chicago Bank in Elgin, Ill., and had formerly worked at United Federal Savings and Loan in Des Moines.
Survivors include four sons, Corey and Matthew, both of St. Charles, and Randy and Darin, both of Des Moines; three daughters, Nicole Leonard, Amanda Leonard and Tiffany Leonard, all of St. Charles; his mother, Doris Johnson of Des Moines; his stepmother, Dorothy Leonard of Mesa, Ariz.; a brother, Richard of Lakewood, Colo.; a sister, Janice Catron of Des Moines; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
