The Life of ALTA B EMMONS
Graveside services for Mrs. Alta B Emmons, 78, of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Des Moines, will be at 10 am Monday at Highland Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Emmons died Tuesday at an Indianapolis hospital after a seven-month illness. She was born in Polk County and was a former assistant secretary in the Iowa treasurer's office. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are a brother, Joseph L Barnes, and a sister, Mrs. Faun B Palmer, both of Indianapolis.
