The Life of THOMAS WAYNE GRAFTON

Thomas Wayne "Tony" Grafton, 64, f 4575 NE 34th Ct., a retired glazer, died of cancer Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Staves Memorial United Methodist Church.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Grafton was a lifelong resident of Des Moines.  He was a member of Staves Memorial United Methodist Church, World War II Rangers-Iowa Chapter and Glazers Union Local No 558.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; three sons, Larry and James, both of Des Moines and Thomas of Waukee; a daughter, Laurie Gray of Des Moines; four brothers, Austin and Richard, both of Des Moines, William of Davenport, and George of Rockway Beach, MO; two sisters, Helen Koski of Elkhart, KS, and Grace Dolitttle of Omaha, NE; and nine grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Grandview Funeral Home.
