The Life of WALTER ALVIN FISHER

Services for Walter A Fisher, 49, of 3938 E Forty-seventh St., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Arnold's Highland Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Fisher died of a heart ailment Monday at University Hospitals in Iowa City after a four-month illness. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, he had lived here 23 years and was engaged in the roofing and siding business. Surviving are his widow, Dorothy; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Palmer, and Mrs. Linda Dreivold, both of Cedar Rapids, and mrs. Dolores Schafer of Livonia, Michigan; four sons, Alvin of Cedar Rapids and Harold, Edward and Charles at home; three sisters, mrs. Banner Stephenson of Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. Earl Dietz of Leewood, Kansas; and mrs. Bob Baker of Los Angeles, California; three brothers, Robert of Kansas City, Missouri, Raymond of Overland Park, Kansas, and Donald of Torrance, California; his mother, Mrs. Edward Fisher of Kansas City, Kansas and 13 grandchildren.
