The Life of OSCAR JOHN LARSEN
Services for Oscar J. Larsen, Jr., 32, of Elkhart will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Larsen died Saturday morning when the car in which he was riding struck on of the cars of a moving freight train at a Des Moines crossing.
Mr. Larsen was born in Eldora, lived in Des Moines 10 years and in Elkhart six years. He was a truck driver for Swift and Co. for the last 15 years.
Surviving are his wife, Loretta; a daughter, Vicki, and two sons, Dennis and Burt, all at home; his father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Larsen of Louisville, KY; and two sisters, Mrs. Betty Knust and Mrs. Colleen Storm, both of Indianola.
