The Life of IRENE F MONSON
Irene F. Monson, 94, of Elsie Mason Manor, 430 Grand Ave., died of complications of pneumonia Friday at Integrated Health Services of Iowa. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Monson was born in Chicago and had lived in Des Moines 28 years. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn Monson of Des moines, and Doris Hemple of Chicago; a sister, Lillian Sloane of California; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
