The Life of MARY LOUISE HILDEBRAND
Mary Lou Hildebrand, 75, of Des Moines, passed away at Taylor House on Saturday, November 12, 2005. She was born Mary Louise Hennagir on January 31, 1930 in Charles City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 16 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Msgr. Robert Chamberlain officiating. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
After ten years employment with Northwestern Bell in Charles City, Mary Lou became a full time homemaker for her family. She spent many years caring for her children and in later years, her grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy.
Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Bob; her four daughters, Mary (Thomas) Kilbride of Rock Island, IL, Carol (Mark) Hollingsworth of Des Moines, Nancy (Wain) Main of Des Moines, and Joni (Hal) Holmquist of Olathe, KS; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two sisters, Phyllis (Dick) Knudslien of Virginia, MN and Joan Fisher of Kalona.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.R. Hennagir and her three brothers, Don, Dick and Al Hennagir.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday evening with Rosary at 6 p.m. at Grandview Park Funeral Home.
