The Life of GLEN LEROY HOGAN

Glen LeRoy Hogan, 74, of 2513 High St., died of a heart ailment Monday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Hogan was born in Marshfield, Mo. He moved to Des Moines from Omaha 48 years ago and retired in 1988 as owner of Hogan Grand View Nursery and Landscaping. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Kingsway Cathedral and an organizer of the Des Moines Hawkeye Harmonica club. He was also a former staff entertainer on WHO Radio. Surviving are his wife, Mary Etta; a daughter, Janice Kortmeyer of Columbus, Neb.; two sons, Michael and Richard both of California; a sister, Betty Gregg of Springfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral hoem.
