The Life of HUBERT D EVERHART
Hubert D. Everhart, 71, of 312 SW Davis Ave. died of a heart attack Sunday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Everhart was born near Bridgewater and lived in Des Moines for 38 years. He retired as a janitor and had worked for Valirius Elementary School in Urbandale for 20 years and was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Alice; three sons, Donald of Indianola and Richard and Dennis, both of Des Moines; two daughters, Vickie Liter and Connie Everhart, both of Des Moines; five stepdaughters, Norma Nelson of Indianola, Kristine Herselius of West Des Moines; and Claudia Orr, Sherrly Nelson and Debra Hansen, all of Des Moines; two sisters, Virginia Snider of Des Moines and Doris Botts of Lincoln, NE; 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
A memorial fund has been established.
