The Life of HAROLD E RUSSELL
Services for Harold E Russell, 88, of Calvin Manor, 4210 Hickman Rd, who died of a stroke Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens.
Born in Menlo, Mr. Russell lived in Des Moines 65 years and was a retired subcontractor and brickmason. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Kinkade of West Des Moines; five sons, Wayne of Newton, Eldon of Boone, Gale of Urbandale, Donald of Billings, MT, and Ronald of Des Moines; two sisters, Bernice Derickson of Escalon, CA, and Glenna Stoll of Bondurant, 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family suggest that any memorial contributions be made to his church.
Friends may call after noon today and the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Westover Funeral Home.
