The Life of JOE A TOIGO
Joe A. Toigo, 80, of 820 E 22nd St. died of a heart ailment Thursday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Eastside Church of the Nazarene, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Toigo was born in Highbridge and moved to Des Moines in 1941 from Pershing. He was a retired counter foreman with Mid-State District Co. and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Eldred; two daughters, Joan Duteau of Des Moines and Donna Bennett of Moville; a brother, John of Des Moines; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
