The Life of PAUL S RIPPENKROEGER
Paul "Ripp" Rippenkroeger, 83, of 2111 E Virginia Ave., died of a heart ailment Monday at home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home, and burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Rippenkroeger, a retired salesman, was born in Fort Madison and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was a member of AmVets.
Surviving are a daughter, Jean Appleby of Des Moines; two brothers, Henry and Eugene, both of Fort Madison; two sisters, Dorothy Orman of Cedar Rapids and Mary Ann Stenger of Peoria, Ill.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
