The Life of LAWRENCE CRONIN Sr.
Lawrence Cronin, 72, of 1239 E. Seventeenth Court, died of a heart attack at his home Tuesday.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Westchester Evangelical Free Church, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Cronin was a salesman for Hoxie Institutional Wholesale Co. and a member of the board of directors of Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. He was born at Frazer in Boone County, had lived in Des Moines 70 years and was a member of East Gate Masonic Lodge, Antioch Chapter, Temple Commandry, Za-Ga-Zig Shrine and Westchester Evangelical Free Church.
Survivors include his wife, Harriett; a son, Lawrence, Jr., of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Nadine Schartner of Des Moines and Mrs. Mercedes Paullin of Marshalltown; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Westchester Evangelical Free Church. The body is at Hamilton''s Funeral Home.
