The Life of FRANCES LOUISE BUCKMANN
Frances Buckmann, 80, of Brainerd, MN, died December 30 at Ah-Gwah-Ching Nursing Center near Walker, MN, of complications of Alzheimer's disease. Memorial services will be at 2 pm February 19 at Highland Park Christian Church in Des Moines, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Buckmann was born in Boyden and lived in Des Moines 58 years before moving to Minnesota in 1990. She was formerly a secretary at the Des Moines Children's Home and was past president of the Ding Darling chapter Izaak Walton League.
Surviving are a daughter, Carol Buckmann of Misswa, MN; a brother, Dean Veenshcoten of Johnston; and a sister, Hazel Gordon of Des Moines.
