The Life of GRAHAM W CLAYTON

Graham W. Clayton, 65, of 506 E. Holcomb Ave. died of a heart attack Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Capital Hill Christian Church, of which he was a member.  Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Clayton was born in Brooklyn and moved to Des Moines 33 years ago from Grinnell.  He retired in 1986 as a sales engineer for Hicklin Power, and was a Navy veteran of World War II and had been a member of Herman Lodge and White Shrine.

Surviving are his wife, Helen; two daughters, Linda Westergaard and Carol Shannon, both of Des Moines; two sons, Gary of West Des Moines and Mike of Des Moines; two sisters, Mary Dean and Pauline Phipps, both of Grinnell; two brothers, Mile of Brooklyn and Paul of Grinnell; and eight grandchildren.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Hamilton's Funeral Home, where the family will meet firends from 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to his church or the Shriner's Burn Center.
