The Life of JOSEPH R REDSHAW
Joseph R. Redshaw, 79, of 2625 Capitol Ave. died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Redshaw was born in Maize, KS, and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He retired after working at Anderson-Erickson Dairy and at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. He was a member of Chesterfield Christian Church and Eastgate Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Helen; two sons, Jon of Des Moines and Craig of Altoona; a daughter, Joan LaMunyon of Des Moines; two sisters, Vera Duffield of Altoona and Dorothy Sellards of Urbandale; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
