The Life of ROBERT GRANT FRYMAN

Robert Grant Fryman, 77, of Dexter died of cancer Tuesday at home. The body was cremated, and services will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Hope Lutheran Church in Des Moines. Burial of the cremains will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery here. Mr. Fryman was born in Des Moines and had lived in Kansas City, MO, and York, NE. before moving to Dexter 13 years ago. He was a retired welder with Kansas City Power and Light Co., and a Marine veteran of World War II and the Korean War and had received a Purple Hear. He was a member of American Legion, Military Order of the Purple Heart and National Rifle Association and enjoyed traveling and participating in cribbage tournaments. He is survived by his wife, Paula; a daughter, Kathryn Migdal of Napa, CA; two sisters, Virginia Sather of Kennewick, WA and Betty Pusich of Fresno, CA; a brother, Wayne of Melbourne, FL; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hope Lutheran Chruch. Hamilton's Funeral Home in Des Moines is handling arrangements.
