The Life of SANDRA LOU ARMSTRONG
Sandra Lou Armstrong, 42, of 6370 NW 54th Ct., Johnston, died of cancer Monday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Born in Ames, she moved to Johnston from Des Moines two years ago. She was a clerical worker for Little Giant Crane and Shovel and had been a member of Crestwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Anthony, and two daughters, Heather Armstrong and Tatum Armstrong, all of Des Moines; her parents, Harold and Luella Rumbaugh of Colo; two brothers, Michael Rumbaugh of Des Moines and Harold Rumbaugh of Colo; a sister, Donna Schauper of Rockwell City; and her grandmother, Mona Long of Osceola.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 9 p.m. today.
