The Life of ARTHUR HERMAN ISSERSTEDT
Arthur H. Isserstedt, 97, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at Sunnyview Care Center in Ankeny. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2005 at Federated Church of Bondurant. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic service at 6:30 p.m. at Hamilton''s Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date.
Arthur was born on September 10, 1908 to Herman and Katrina (Conrad) Isserstedt in Chicago, IL. He was a self-employed x-ray engineer. He was a Navy veteran and served during WWII. He was a member of the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine.
He is survived by his son, Glenn (Barbara) Isserstedt of Milford, MI; daughter, Gail (Lester) Helm of Bondurant; five grandsons and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Isserstedt.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Shriner''s Children''s Hospital.
