The Life of RALPH W RYAN
Ralph W. Ryan, 73, of 4030 North Union St. died of a heart attack Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hamilton''s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Ryan was a lifelong resident of Des Moines. He was a retired employee for Armstrong Rubber Co. and a member of United Tire and Rubber Workers Union. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie M; two sons, Ralph M and Bob, both of Des Moines; two daughters, Helen Wheeldon and Phyllis Ludgate, both of Des Moines; a brother, Willard Smith of Des Moines; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
